At the heart of The Gelato Carte is husband-and-wife team Andrea Barbee and Alex Barbee, who built the company around the belief that dessert should be an experience - not just a menu item.
Inspired by the charm of European gelato culture and a passion for elevated hospitality, they created The Gelato Carte to bring artisan gelato and unforgettable presentation to weddings, corporate events, galas, and private celebrations throughout the Greater Tampa Area.
Alex leads operations and event execution, ensuring every event runs seamlessly, while Andrea focuses on growth, partnerships, and client relationships. Together, alongside an exceptional team of dedicated gelato maestros and event professionals, they curate a polished, interactive gelato experience designed to leave a lasting impression on every guest.
